CHP Task Force on Human Trafficking

Coming October 6th, Kelly Rivas on "CHP Task Force on Human Trafficking"
Kelly Rivas works with the California Highway Patrol’s efforts to combat human trafficking, bringing a law-enforcement perspective to the identification, investigation, and prevention of trafficking in California. Through collaboration with law enforcement agencies and community partners, her work focuses on increasing awareness, recognizing indicators of trafficking, and helping protect vulnerable individuals.

During her presentation to the Rotary Club of La Jolla, Kelly will provide insight into human trafficking, how law enforcement responds to it, warning signs the public should recognize, and ways communities can help support prevention efforts.
